Teachers who guide us to conquer the world with letters.

If someone asked me what's the noblest profession in the world, my answer would be the teaching profession. Because the teacher creates all other professionals. When we're in the darkness of ignorance, it's the teacher who light the lamp of knowledge and lead us forward. They're not just imparting facts, they're teaching us life. A true teacher sees beyond text books and envision a child's future. By identifying children's talents, teaching virtues and laying of foundation to create a citizen who respects society and loves humanity, teachers manage to change a student's entire life. The role of a teacher is truly remarkable. A teacher is the only person who finds humble joy in seeing their students succeed and thrive in the highest positions, more than their own success. No matter how educated, wealthy or powerful we become, we remain that small student in front of a teacher. The greatest respect we can show them is by being grateful and living according...

In a word that has gone simple, we still seek freedom

Do you remember that beautiful past when life simply? I wonder where that silent anticipation of waiting for the postman has hidden today. Back then, it took weeks for us to exchange messages, but that " waiting " had a kind of patience and freedom of mind that we lack today.  I wrote a letter asking," Are you sad ?" which is a simple sentence that contains a huge love and emotional impact. When writing a letter, it takes effort and it becomes a beautiful gift that is sent through the post. The suffering experienced by the sender gives our hidden feelings a place to emerge. But this suffering is temporary, and the lives of the people living in our lives bring us special emotional experiences. We feel that the" wait" that comes with sweet counting the days passes between deep sadness, and the heart fills with sweet emotions. In the rush to achieve everything, we think we are free, but are you minds truly free? In this fast - paced, profit - driven world, we...

Appachchi

To the world, Dad might seem like a quiet, not - so-talkative person. But to me, there's a strength like Mount Meru hidden in that silence. He never talks about his hardships or sorrows to the world. Instead, he silently sacrifices for us. The ultimate hope of all his efforts was our happiness. No matter what challenges life threw at him, the biggest strength he gave us was his words.      "No matter what anyone says, don't stop your journey. Keep moving forward. I'll always be behind you as a strength". I remember that day my Advance Level results came out. When I found out I passed the exam, Appachchi hugged me and said those words. His usually silent eyes were filled with tears that day. Those tears held a great pride in me. No matter what milestones life brings, that loving hug is worth more to me than my biggest achievement. Appachchi, I'll never forget those happy tears that fell from your eyes that day. I promise I'll never break the silent trust yo...

The Ocean of love and the Whirlwind of hatred

Love and hatred ara two powerful emotions that arise in the human mind. Psychologically speaking, love is not just an emotion, but on of the most powerful feelings that give meaning to human life. What's special is that both these emotions are nourished by the same root, "desire". The human heart is like an endless ocean. On ona side, a fierce whirlpool named hatred waits to swallow the whole life with unimaginable speed. When love turns into hatred, it's depth doesn't change. Only it's nature changes. Love and hatred are inseparable. To me, this is an eternal truth. The most intense hatred is both from hearts that once loved deeply. Just like in Shakespeare's  Othello, where Othello instantly turned to hatred towards Desdemona, whom he loved like his life, due to a misunderstanding of betrayal. Othello's immense love turned into fierce hatred due suspicion and perceived of love but a distorted from of love itself. 😍😡

My School Life

Everyone has unforgettable memories of their school life. I also have such memories of my school days. I studied at Kg/St. Joseph's Balika Vidyalaya from grade 1 to grade 13.On the first day of school, I was very shy, but seeing my friends made me feel better. After that, I did all the naughty things with my friends in the school. We used to climb trees, whisper to the teachers, hit the bell and go to the playground during class hours. We did a lot of mischief like that. Despite doing so many naughty things, our teachers loved us. After winning the first place in the island -wide competition, our teachers welcomed us back to school with love. We couldn't express enough gratitude for that. After completing 13 years of education, I felt a mix of sadness and happiness leaving the school. The love, respect, education and experiences I gained from the school have taken me far and made me successful. It's not the end of school life, it's just a part of our life. We move forwar...
